Expect to Find Something You Can't Live Without !

You are a miniaturist.  You know what I mean.  The vendors here are folks like you -- they create miniatures for their own enjoyment.  They accumulate more "stash" than they can use.  They have something they "thought would be perfect" but it wasn't perfect for their project when they got home.  They have accumulated:

  1. fabric with small scale patterns
  2. wallpaper "for later"
  3. "things'" for the kitchen they'll do later
  4. tutorial videos they've seen and/or mastered
  5. a gift they wish they had not received
  6. things that were in the box with what they "really wanted"
  7. furniture in different periods
  8. duplicates they just discovered
  9. etc.  etc.

Expect to Find Tons of Bargains !

After all, these vendors want to go home empty-handed.  However, if they are like you and me, they'll be buying things from the other vendors..  But they'll need your money with which to do it.

How to Prepare for a Flea Market . . .

Look over your projects in advance.  Make a list of them.  Note what you hope to find for that project.  Write down the measurements.  Bring a color sample, photos, husband, wallet.  Don't be caught saying "Oh, that looks perfect!  I wish I knew if it would fit in my project.".
